WellSpring works to bring an end to relationship and sexual abuse in the community
WellSpring believes that an expanded focus in not only being proactive in Saratoga County to end relationship and sexual abuse but a focus on educating the community about these issues and advocating for social change, which can help in preventing abuse and crises before they happen. WellSpring’s vision is “A Saratoga County free of relationship and sexual abuse”.
What is the Purple Purse Challenge fundraiser?
For the Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge asks nonprofit organizations serving domestic violence survivors to participate in fundraising to raise the most money.The top fundraisers have the opportunity to win grand prize cash donations totaling $350,000 from the Allstate Foundation.
Even if an organization doesn’t win, each gets to keep the money raised during the campaign.
