There are many companies out there that are offering $99 carpet cleaning specials that sound incredible and cheap. They are advertised in many of the coupon booklets as well as online in the pay per click categories. These specials are just gimmicks to get into your home and up charge you for anything they can think of.
We will never bad mouth any company here at J and R carpet cleaners which is why we will not mention these competitors names, but we also wont sit back and let our customers have a fast one pulled on them thinking they will be paying a nice cheap $99 for a job that turns out to be over $200 after all is said and done. We go in houses every day where we meet new people and hear the horror stories of them using other companies and having this happen to them. One simple trick these companies will pull is they will say we will do two rooms and a hallway for one price.
Then they get into your home and say your one room is so big that that counts as the two rooms and the hallway and then up charge you for the other room that you thought they were going to include in this price then they also go through your home and point out certain spots or stains that they must treat with an “expensive” product.
Some of these spots are going to cost you up to $25 bucks.(not talking about a germicide product that would be sprayed down to kill bacteria over a whole room, but talking more along the lines of a coffee spot on your carpet that they will come in with a special product using a tiny about and like stated above try to suck every penny out of you.We here at J and R’s Carpet Cleaning are most likely not going to be the cheapest quote you get over the phone but we do promise to do our absolute best with most updated equipment, and also to make sure you know what your price will be before we start the job.
We wont throw you for a loop, and i’m not saying we are outrageously priced because we are not. What we are is a small company of two people that like to work hard, establish working friendships with our customers, and give you the best quality work we can for the cheapest price we can.Once again this article is not about bashing other companies, but more about making our customers aware, and informed of the newest and latest scam trends on the market.(There will be no image with this article as I state above do not believe in bad mouthing anyone or exposing them. )
