Can you get blood out of carpets/furniture?

There are 3 factors that come into play when cleaning blood. Number one is how long has the blood been there? If it has been there for a while then the problem you may run into is the deep red color that blood is can dye your carpet, and upholstery fibers. Number 2 is how much is there.

Obviously its easy to clean a small amount of blood then it is a big puddle. We can work with both but when you get a huge puddle of it you not only have an extreme saturation of your fibers, but also it may have soaked through the padding of your carpet, and could wick back up as we call it after the cleaning process. Number 3 is what color the material is. Its much easier for us to get blood out of a brown material over a white material. Brown hides the color red much easier then white, and is harder to dye. We also have a spot cleaning product that works on blood if our machines can’t get it out. Give us a call and we’ll come check out the situation and let you know what we think we can do for you with our carpet cleaning, and upholstery cleaning services.
