There are many Different things out there that people hang on their trees for decorations. Most of them wont do damage to your carpet but there is one that I really
would like you to stay away from.
Every once in a while you will still see a tree with the red berry string running around it to complement the color of the bright tinsel and lights. We always warn our clients to stay away from hanging these because:
-These red berries may look great but they are a recipe for disaster
-They are usually strung together on a tiny tight string that breaks very easily so they will mostly likely at some point end up on your floor.
– They are very enticing to pull on for children, cats, dogs, etc.
-If these end up on your floor and get stepped on or smashed they have an incredibly strong red die within them that has a great possibility of becoming permanent. We can get stains out but when some very powerful dyes come into play they actual change the color make up of the fiber making it impossible to pull up from the fiber.
