There are many times where you will have a piece of furniture with metal legs and a drink or some other liquid will get spilled down there. The reaction between this and the metal bottoms of your furniture can create rust marks. We have our own spotter treatment for your carpet to clean rust but if you don’t want to have us come over to treat it one way we have heard is to try vinegar.

Removing Spots With Vinegar
- Apply white vinegar to the spot, let sit and then work into rust with something dull.
- Next, take a paper towel and try to blot out as much of the vinegar as possible.
- Flush the spot with a little club soda; once again dab as much as possible.
- If the rust hasn’t been removed after, call J and R’s carpet cleaning and we’ll take care of it.
