We have been coming across many people lately who have been using the spot bot on spills etc throughout their household thinking they are helping their carpets. This is however not true.
The spot bot has many problems. For one most people who turn them on leave them on all day which causes the continuous rotation motion as well as a continuous flow of solution into the carpet. This isn’t good for the carpet and can actually pull the pigment out of it if left on long enough. The length of keeping the spot bot on a spot, and well as the continuous rotation also tears up the fibers pretty bad.
Last but not least this spot may look lighter than the rest of your carpets once done, and if enough residue is left over will cause white spotting on your carpet during our cleaning process. Your better off dabbing up your spill and calling us in the long run!
