- There are a couple of products out there that say they fix filtration lines, but from our years of expertise and countless hours of trying to rid our customers houses of them, they lighten the lines, but do not rid your carpet of that dark color.
- The only way we have found to eliminate these lines is when you are either having carpet put down for the first time, or are replacing them.
- Either before you have carpet put in, or after they tear up your old one you should go around your house and caulk all of the bottom edges of the wall thoroughly on all sides of the room. You should also change all of your air filters. Once the caulk has dried and the carpet is installed all you can do is make sure you change your air filters on a regular basis, and keep as many doors as you can open at all times.
- This will limit air flow under the doors, which will prevent the carpet fibers from catching any dibree your filters miss.
