If you’ve ever thought about getting a puppy, or possibly had your children beg to get a dog, you know that there’s a lot of decision making involved; from who will take care of it, all the way to worrying about your furniture being destroyed!
If you plan on getting a dog regardless, there are a few tips we have for you:
- Try not to have anything white. Puppies are bound to make mistakes, so you may find yourself scrubbing yellow off your white carpet or upholstery.
- Puppies are playful creatures. If you have any furniture you want to keep new, call professionals to lay down a layer of protectant.
- Buy a couch cover. They may be expensive, but you will be glad you bought one in the future.
- Leave a towel by the door. When your pup comes in from outside playing, wipe their paws every time. This will protect your carpets from soil.
